This enjoyable three-kilometre route begins at our lovely country hotel. Just next to Son Jaumell, you will see an unpaved path called the Camí de Son Jaumell that heads toward the coast and leads you to Cala Moltó (Moltó Cove). This highly recommended walking trail is surrounded by trees and will surely awaken your senses. Once you pass Agulla beach, you will arrive at Cala Moltó, a small, rocky natural cove. This peaceful trail winds through the natural gardens that surround the hotel, passes through a forest of 100-year-old oak trees and takes you through carob and almond groves.
One of the most popular routes is the one that leads to the Talaia de Son Jaumell which is also knows as Es Telégrafo. An old watchtower set upon a hill that bares the same name, it is located between Cala Agulla and Cala Mesquida and is best experienced if you begin at the entrance of the village of Capdepera and continue all the way to Cala Mesquida. The trail goes through a series of sand dunes from which you will spot the Es Telégrafo Hill (Puig des Telégrafo) which leads you to the watchtower. On this journey, you will experience the hiking trails of Majorca, enjoy the coves of Capdepera and admire the breathtaking views from the Talaia.
This route begins from Hotel Son Jaumell with Cala Mesquida cove as its destination. However, if you are up for the challenge, you can continue on to Cala Torta. This four-kilometre route goes along the asfalt road that runs along local farmlands and then continues deep into the forest. When you see the wooden walkway, you will know that you have arrived at the spectacular Cala Mesquida.
