The Capdepera Lighthouse, together with the Artrutx Lighthouse on Menorca, marks the channel that separates the two islands at its narrowest point. Located at the easternmost enclave of Mallorca, historians recount that it was on this very slope where King Jaume I the Conqueror awaited the return of the envoys he had sent to Menorca to demand the island’s Muslim surrender.
